An important part of student learning at HU includes field experience. Industry Tours can connect class learning with the world, making it tangible and memorable and students, gain practical experience by seeing hands-on methods and theories learned in classes.

• HU School of Media Studies arranged an Educational Tour to the news channel City 42, which broadcasts news and events about Lahore.

• HU School of Pharmacy arranged an Educational Tour of Students to Pacific Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd.  
  

• HU Media Studies Students, Educational Tour of Channel 5 TV Studios .
  

• HU organized an Educational Tour of Tripple Em for students of Commerce to enhance their exposure and understanding of the organization, its production mechanisms, human resource management, marketing, and strategy of one of the oldest companies of Pakistan.
  

• HU Business School (HUBS) had an opportunity to visit this esteemed organization, Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited. The aim was to allow Business students to appreciate the how a leading company such as Honda Atlas functions.

The Center for  Professional Development (CPD) inspires, supports, and educates students and alumni to develop their full potential as creative entrepreneurs, locate staff and freelance opportunities, and succeed as fine art practitioners. Counselors work with students on professional learning goals for internships  and career goals for their job search so Pratt students and alumni can navigate the path from college to career with clarity, competence and confidence.

CPD staff members stay abreast of changing trends and employer needs, and guide HU students into an easy transition from college into the work environment. We maintain relationships with employers and internship providers nationally and internationally, and offer many ways for employers to reach and recruit from the talented HU community.
